Digital Citizenship and Online Safety at Kings Schools
Through what I experience with digital citizenship and online safety, I find it to be quite cautious enough for me to be aware of it at all costs.
My Personal Experiences With Digital Citizenship and Online Safety In King Schools
The only experiences I had about Digital citizenship and online safety in Kings schools was pretty recent. For example, when I was in Mr. Wright’s Collabotory class, people who worked in CRISTA gave us suggestions on how to be from fake emails, signs of safe websites, peoples’ ways of making phishing websites, etc. Also, the school’s health classes taught us about the internet. Things like cyber-bullying, personal effects, etc. Cyber-bullying, in my opinion, was the category that I found most important to learn about. For example, we learned about a girl who experienced major cyber-bullying, her name was Lizzie Velasquez. Lizzie was a girl who stood up for herself from being cyber-bullied. She then spread the word to everyone around the world. For what I see from Lizzie, she was someone that I admire, since she was brave enough to overcome that situation. Also, we learned about the causes and effects to cyber-bullying, which involves those who experienced bullying happening. Do you Remember the collabotory class that I mentioned, it was called Cyber wise. It taught us other information about the internet, like Digital Citizenship, Online Safety, etc.
